The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued.
Our office will send text message reminders 2 days before your child’s appointment and again 1 hour prior to your child’s appointment. We ask that you give us a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule and appointment. You can call, text, or email us. If you call us after business hours, you may leave a message on our answering machine. Repeated missed appointments without prior notice may result in your child being dismissed from our practice.
Should you have any questions, please call us at 691-1404. Please feel free to drop by prior to your child’s appointment to meet us and take a pre-visit tour. You do not have to let us know that you are coming, but you may wish to call only to make sure that we are here.

We know little ones are often nervous about coming to the dentist, that is why we always invite parents to accompany their child to both the hygiene and treatment areas.
The charge for the first visit is $150 ($171 if 16 years or older). This includes a cleaning, oral exam, and fluoride treatment. In most cases, we will need to take x-rays and there will be an additional charge of $37-$141, depending on what is required. The hygienist will speak with you before any x-rays are taken. She will advise you as to the amount of any additional charges before they are done.
We are a “network” provider for the following insurance companies: Cigna (Radius Plan), Delta Dental, DentaMax, Humana, United Concordia, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield of TN, TennCare, and Cover Kids. Co-pays and deductibles will be collected when service is rendered. Please note that, ultimately you are responsible for knowing what your benefits are and we encourage you to contact your carrier before scheduling treatment. Please remember that you are responsible for your child’s bill, not the insurance company.
